1. INTRODUCTION
Papyrus Orchid ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website www.promiseofpaper.com and provides bespoke luxury stationery to a discerning clientele. By accessing our website, engaging with our services, or placing an order, you, the customer ("you," "your," or "client"), acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein. These terms govern all transactions, communications, and interactions with our company. It is imperative that you carefully review the provisions outlined in this agreement before proceeding with any purchase. Should you disagree with any clause contained herein, you are advised to refrain from using our services.
2. ORDER PLACEMENT AND CUSTOMIZATION PROCESS
Papyrus Orchid specializes in luxury stationery, with a strong emphasis on customization. While we offer a selection of standard, pre-designed products, the hallmark of our business lies in our bespoke offerings, tailored to the specific preferences of our clients. Customers may initiate orders through our official website as well as our designated social media channels.
For all customized orders, a collaborative design process is undertaken, wherein clients are encouraged to communicate their preferences. Following mutual discussion and approval, the finalized design enters the production phase. Once a design is confirmed by the client, no further modifications shall be entertained, and the order shall be deemed final and binding. It is important to note that while many of our products are fully customizable, certain designs and product categories possess fixed attributes and are, therefore, not subject to alterations.
To maintain efficiency in processing orders and uphold the exclusivity of our offerings, a minimum cart value of ₹500 is required to proceed with any purchase. Certain products may also necessitate a minimum order quantity, which shall be explicitly specified wherever applicable.
3. Pricing and Payment Policies
All product pricing is determined based on material selection, design complexity, and customization preferences. Prices are subject to revision at the sole discretion of Papyrus Orchid and may change without prior notice. While fixed-price offerings are available for standard products, customized items may vary in cost depending on the level of personalization involved. Clients are advised to confirm final pricing at the time of order placement.
Payments for all purchases must be made in full via the accepted modes, which include credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and digital wallets. The company does not entertain cash-on-delivery transactions. In the case of bespoke orders, a deposit—either partial or full—shall be required before the commencement of production. The nature and extent of the deposit shall be determined at the company’s discretion, contingent upon the complexity and volume of the order.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Papyrus Orchid extends its shipping services across India and internationally, leveraging reputable logistics partners, including but not limited to India Post, Blue Dart, and DTDC. The standard production timeline for customized orders is approximately seven days, following which dispatch occurs. Delivery is generally expected within ten days from the date of order confirmation; however, these timelines remain subject to external factors beyond our control, including but not limited to logistical disruptions, force majeure events, or courier-related delays.
The company provides an expedited shipping service, which is available upon prior request. The feasibility of this service is assessed based on order specifics and lead time, and any additional costs associated with expedited delivery shall be borne by the client. Customers must furnish accurate and complete shipping information at the time of order placement, as the company shall not be held responsible for any delays or non-fulfilment arising from inaccurate or incomplete address details.
Shipping costs are calculated strictly on a cost-to-cost basis, with Papyrus Orchid absorbing shipping charges for orders exceeding ₹699. For orders falling below this threshold, the client shall be required to bear the applicable shipping fees.
5. Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds
Given the highly personalized nature of our products, cancellations, returns, and exchanges are not permitted once an order has been confirmed and payment has been processed. Customers are strongly encouraged to review all order details, including design specifications, materials, and personalization aspects, before final approval.
Papyrus Orchid maintains a strict no-refund policy, with exceptions granted only in the event of demonstrable damage sustained during transit. Should a consignment arrive in a compromised condition, the client must provide sufficient photographic and/or video evidence within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery. Upon review, the company retains the sole discretion to assess the legitimacy of the claim and determine an appropriate course of action. Minor discrepancies in colour, texture, or craftsmanship shall not be deemed valid grounds for refund or replacement, as such variations are inherent to handcrafted stationery.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All designs, branding elements, and proprietary content associated with Papyrus Orchid are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Clients acknowledge that any customization executed on their behalf remains the intellectual property of Papyrus Orchid and cannot be replicated, reproduced, or commercially exploited without explicit written consent from the company. Any unauthorized usage of our designs shall constitute a breach of copyright and may be subject to legal action.
7. Limitation of Liability
Papyrus Orchid shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services. Additionally, while we endeavour to meet all stipulated delivery timelines, the Company assumes no responsibility for delays attributable to third-party shipping providers or unforeseen circumstances.
